What is time?
What is the future?
What is the past?
We are obsessed with the future and dwell over the past.
We have as a society struggled with knowing what the future brings. It is important for any society to know or at least understand what the future will bring.
Language…
Our language has verbiage, concepts, and perceptions that mold our perception of time. We have in our language the words that indicate past, present and future while other languages do not have a past or future tense.
We spend much of our lives concerning ourselves with the future and planning things out. We spend a good portion of lives dwelling on past events either good, bad, or indifferent wondering how would that have gone different if I had made a different decision.
Choice…
We sometimes often stop to think what would our lives be like if we had a made a different choice. What if I did take that job. Or what if I didn’t take that job or meet up with that person. If I didn’t part ways with someone how would life be different.
Major, Medium, and Minor Choices…
Every day we are making serveral hundred decisions to do or not do this or that. To say or not say this or that. Some decisions are small or minor that make small or minor impacts on our overall lives. Other decisions make medium impacts in that they change our lives temporarily that may last for a few days, weeks or months.
Major decisions we are usually pretty much conscious of. We know when that decision is going to change our day to day activity. These are decisions that make a major impact. School, job, person, club, social interactions.
Other Perspectives outside of Linear
There have been other beings that have expressed their perspective of time very differently than our linear time. They do not have a perspective of a future timeline that is undetermined. That all of time is defined we are just seeing time through the narrow lens or perception of the now.
Free Will vs Fate
The long standing debate between free will and fate. Sometimes it feels like we are able to make our own choices while other times we feel like we don’t have a choice. Some argue that free will is just an illusion to appease us into complacency.
A new perspective
Let’s take a whole new perspective or at least a different perspective to having all of time already exist. The notion of past, present, and future is just an illusion, a stubborn one but still. There is no past (determined) or future (non-determined) that exists. Instead think of space time as a large bundle of threads or yarn that grouped together. They are long threads that stretch out to represent time and space is structured based on the time thread having a certain collective decision made. That yarn/thread represents a timeline/time-thread that represents the time line for which you made decisions. Others in your life have their own time-threads. There are many threads that are parallel that don’t cross but are close to each other. There are other threads that get bundled together in balls or torus’ that represent people or events that are reoccuring (job, partner, mate, friend). Think of the threads of loom that make a complex carpet. The threads that cross over and touch each other are connections with people that meet and have interactions with. Knots are conflicts or closeness of people or animals.
Each carpet can represent the life of person or animal, plant…
The idea is that each thread or yarn is a representation of a space-time thread. That there is no past or future or even a present other that you might think of a bead that you can move along the thread to represent the present moment that you are witnessing.
A New Perspective is Necessary…
Many things are changing in our society now and we are headed into new energies. New levels of understanding, awareness, and awakening.
What if we understand that we can change our lives even though we feel like we do not have any choice? What if changing your conscious perception and choices are just a way of jumping from one thread to another. That is your free will. You have the free will to make a choice. That is just making a conscious decision to jump to another time-thread. Time-threads are next to each other are easy to make the jump.
Fate is still preserved due to the time-thread representing fate. But are you bound to that particular time-thread?
Choose your thread wisely…
